The Month of September
September is the ninth month of the year in the Gregorian calendar and is known for being the beginning of the autumn season in the Northern Hemisphere. In the United States, September is a month full of important events and observances, including Labor Day, Patriot Day, and the start of the school year for many students. Labor Day, celebrated on the first Monday in September, honors the contributions and achievements of American workers. Patriot Day, observed on September 11th, commemorates the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. In addition, September is also recognized as National Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the history and culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans.
